Iphone appstore not working properly? Quoting prices in dollars even tho in uk?!?

My iPhone 3g app store doesn’t work properly. Firstly all the prices are in us dollars and also the rankings of the top apps are clearly for the us market. I am in the uk and registered in the uk. I’ve not had this problem before, I’ve tried resetting the iPhone – makes no difference. I’ve also tried downloading an app but it says account info incorrect (which I know can’t be the case). Anyone had this issue or know how to solve it?

Check your settings. It might be set for dollars
